Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about sourcing genuine HARVIA sauna products -- from certifications and customization to shipping, warranty and after-sales support.
Brand & Product
Are your saunas genuine HARVIA products? Where are they manufactured?
Yes. Our products are genuine HARVIA-brand products, manufactured at Harvia's authorized production facility in China. Harvia has operated manufacturing in China since 2005 as part of its global production network. All products follow Harvia's original Finnish design, core heating technology and unified global quality standards.
What voltage and electrical specifications do your sauna heaters support?
We supply heaters compatible with different markets: 220-240V / 50Hz single-phase or 380-415V three-phase for Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and 208-240V / 60Hz for North America. Please confirm your local voltage, frequency and phase before ordering, as heaters cannot be converted after production.
What certifications do your products have? Is CE enough for my market?
Our CE and RoHS certifications are held by our own factory and cover the models exported to the EU market. Please note that CE covers the EU only: North America legally requires UL or ETL certification for electric heaters, the UK requires UKCA marking, and Australia / New Zealand require SAA approval. Please tell us your target market, and we will confirm which certified models are available for you.
Are your saunas rated for commercial use (hotels, gyms, spas)? Is the warranty different?
Yes, we offer both residential and commercial-duty models. Commercial models use heavy-duty heating elements designed for continuous daily operation. Please note warranty terms differ between residential and commercial use (see Q14), so specify the application when ordering.
Ordering & Customization
What is your MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?
We support sample orders with 1 unit MOQ for trial. For wholesale and distributor orders, competitive bulk pricing is available based on larger quantities, supporting small and medium dealers to start business easily.
What is your production and delivery lead time?
Standard sauna models have a 7-15 day production lead time. Bulk order delivery time is 15-25 days depending on order quantity. Shipment is arranged immediately after production and quality inspection.
Do you support OEM / ODM customized service?
For HARVIA-brand products, we strictly maintain original branding, design and packaging to protect product authenticity -- logo customization is not available. For clients seeking private-label solutions, we offer a separate self-developed product line where full OEM/ODM customization (logo, color, size, packaging) is supported.
Can control panels and manuals be provided in my local language and units (°F / °C)?
Yes. Control panels support both Celsius and Fahrenheit display. User manuals are available in English by default; German, French, Spanish, Arabic and other language versions can be arranged for bulk orders. Localized manuals are also a legal requirement in many EU countries -- we help you stay compliant.
Can you provide product samples and catalogs for business cooperation?
Yes. We provide official product catalogs, detailed specification sheets and product samples. We also support factory audits and video inspections to help clients verify product quality before ordering.
Payment & Logistics
What payment terms do you accept for international orders?
We support mainstream international payment methods, including T/T wire transfer, Western Union and L/C. For long-term cooperative clients, flexible payment terms can be negotiated to meet different trade needs.
Do you provide international shipping and door-to-door delivery?
Yes. We offer full international shipping solutions, including sea freight, air freight and express delivery, under DDP, DDU and FOB terms, with door-to-door delivery to most countries and regions. Please note: quotations are valid for 30 days, and sea freight is settled at the market rate prevailing at the time of shipment.
Does the wooden packaging comply with import regulations (ISPM 15 fumigation)?
Yes. All wooden packaging and pallets are heat-treated and stamped with the ISPM 15 mark, meeting international phytosanitary requirements. We also provide fumigation certificates where required (e.g., Australia, New Zealand, Brazil) to avoid customs quarantine delays.
After-Sales & Cooperation
What is your warranty policy?
All products are covered by warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranty periods vary by product category and model, and the specific terms for your order are clearly stated in writing in the quotation and sales contract. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, incorrect voltage connection or lack of maintenance. Please contact our sales team for the exact warranty terms of the models you are interested in.
Do you provide installation guidance and technical support?
Yes. Every sauna comes with detailed installation manuals and video tutorials. Our technical team provides remote support via video call for installation and troubleshooting. For large commercial projects, on-site technical guidance can be arranged.
How do you handle transit damage claims?
All shipments are covered by cargo insurance. Please inspect goods upon arrival and report any damage with photos and an unpacking video within 7 days of receipt. Verified transit damage will be compensated with free replacement parts in your next shipment, or through insurance claim settlement. We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video for all glass panels and heater units.
Will the wood crack or warp in my local climate?
Sauna wood is kiln-dried to 8-12% moisture content, but solid wood naturally reacts to extreme climates. For very dry regions (Middle East, inland North America) or high-humidity tropical markets, we recommend suitable wood options and provide storage guidelines: keep cabins in original packaging, indoors, away from direct sunlight before installation. Minor surface checking of solid wood is a natural characteristic, not a quality defect.
What spare parts should I stock as a distributor? How fast can I get replacement parts?
We recommend distributors stock fast-wearing parts at 5-10% of order volume: heating elements, thermostats, control panels, door hinges and glass gaskets. Small parts can be shipped by express within 3-5 days. We can include a recommended spare parts kit free of charge or at cost price with your first container order.
How can I contact your after-sales team? What is your response time?
Our export sales and after-sales team is available via email, WhatsApp and WeChat. Inquiries are answered within 24 hours on business days. Each distributor is assigned a dedicated account manager for order tracking, technical questions and claims handling.
